xX Tinkerbell Xx: I am thankful to be alive right now.
We are having a huge rain/wind storm up here tonight and I am so glad I messed around on my phone for a minute after stopping for gas. If I was going down the old highway TWO SECONDS sooner tonight, I would be crushed underneath a massive tree right now.
I was driving along, close to home and out of the corner of my eye I see a dark shadow falling towards the ground... I screamed on the brakes and stopped about four feet shy of the trunk as it crashed to the ground. I was going 60mph and didn't have a lot of time to stop just barely saving my car and my life.
SHOOK.
I saw another car approaching fast, no time to waste, I flipped on my hazards, stomped on my brake lights and flashed my high beams as fast as I could, they too, barely stopped in time.
I called 911 and reported it, thankfully there was juuusstttt enough room on the far edge of the shoulder to sneak around the mess and continue on my way which I did as soon as a police cruiser showed up to manage the scene.

I'm home safe now and thanking my lucky stars for that. Someone must be watching over me because I just narrowly escaped death this evening.
