As stars pierced the black ink, lights also twinkled to life. Purple shadows spread both above and below me but bright pinholes decorated the enveloping darkness. From my vantage point, my gaze couldn't penetrate the dark, but the celestial bodies - moons, planets, raging suns - glistened and burned.
