Ever noticed how there are two different ways that people look at paintings?

Most people see a beautiful painting as a thing and think of it as a beautiful object. They look at the colours and figures in the painting and see it as a great painting according to it's beauty. Some even look at details in the painting and say that they really "love" it.

Others look at the same painting and see the beauty, but look past it as well. They find the hidden emotions behind each stroke and each mixture of colour. They try to understand the feelings hidden in each colour and truly appreciate the beauty and strength it took to express those deep emotions.

If only more people could look at paintings and understand both what is seen and hidden - that way people may find true love.
