My daddy and me are travelers
We've been both near and far
We’ve seen the Pole from an airplane
And Indy from a car.


We've been to Disneyland
Watched a storm as it crossed a plain
Been close enough to a mighty lion
To almost touch his mane.


We've dived under the ocean
Picked starfish off the sand
Crossed a desert on a big smelly camel
We've seen the wide brown land.


But Sunday was something special
Far better than all the rest
We walked through a tangled jungle
Then hurriedly undressed.


The water was deep and freezing
As we swam across that pond
Closer and closer we edged ourselves
To whatever was there beyond.


The water was pooling all around
Then leaping out into space
I’d never seen a waterfall
Before we found that place.


My eyes were large as lemons
I could feel my toes had curled
As I sat there with my daddy
Right at the edge of the world.
