The definition of a cowboy

We were chatting in one of the rooms the other night, and this quote came to mind. He was an instructor of mine in the past. He was from Montana and he made the statement to me about being real cowboys back home, my first thoughts were the attire. He went on to explain his meaning.

A real cowboy is when a stranger can walk up to you and they accept you at face value, he will sign the papers needed but all that is need for him is the hand shake. You will get along great with him as long as your square with him, but if you ever cross him he will never do business or anything else with him again.
