Veah: Scooter Ward, you have been some one I have looked up to, depended on, confided in and loved for the last 20 years of my life. Through your own pain, through your own turmoil you became a blessing and a sanctuary for millions of people who feel alone, lost, and beaten.
You are an incredible human being with such a special gift that has saved not only my life but everyone else that listens to your music, that understands and has lived the lyrics you sing about. For every painful word you write, you give some one strength, hope and the ability to cope with what ever horrible things have happened to them.
its January 12th and I have only just discovered this album which was released on september 13th. The significance of that date is that was a friday, at 10:43 am, my girlfriend and our baby ceased to exist. She was only 6 1/2 weeks when i lost them.
Perhaps what you write, what you create plays the same intentional purpose for someone else but this one is personal to me,the very title of the album.... maybe this one was intended for me and for that I cant thank you enough. You will never know the depth to what you and your music has meant to me. I know my grief is something I will carry for the rest of my life and I know you will be there for me, for us, and everyone else that needs you.
