Someone else has already said it best. So if you can't top it, steal from them and go out strong. The Truth will set you free, but first it will piss you off. You see a mousetrap, I see "FREE CHEESE" and a ****ing challenge. The key to immortality is to live a life worth remembering. If you want to obtain the impossible, you must first attempt the absurd. Whether you think you can or you think you can't, you are right. The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others. I think therefore I am, because I think [I KNOW] I exist. Anything worth doing, is worth doing right. If you deny greatness to yourself, you deny it to the entire world. We are here on this world to help others, what on earth the others are here for, I have no idea. You don't get rich by doing the right things, you get rich by doing things right. It's not what you do it's how you do it. You want to do business with people who believe what you believe. Integrity is doing what is right, even when no one is watching. By the power of truth, I, a mortal, have conquered the universe. I teach you the übermensch. Man is something that shall be overcome. What have you done to overcome him?
irishacrobat: From reading science fiction in the past and reading a bit I get the basic notion that gravity was caused by any and all mass. That a denser object pulled a smaller object toward it. Then over time the vague understanding that no, the objects affect likely spacetime. In a magic dimension causing the denser object to warp space such that the smaller objects would be affected by that. The earth is affected/pulled toward a time in space by the suns recent affect on space. I've a few other notions from what I've read. But find it very hard to even begin to grasp. Wondering if you have some very simple set of metaphors you'd offer. You have a gift for that. If you've the time.

Super Esquire: A few additions:
Because abuse can destroy people's "belongingness and love needs", it needs an asterisk for this exception in this diagram.
Also, bc some people's faith orientation can be fundamental to their existence, it needs to be included in bottom of pyramid, along with food and water.
"Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the father," jesus taught.
Upaya: This is based on the work of Abraham Maslow, he is one of the few psychologists who has done a lot of work on what a healthy mind looks like, not just cataloguing neurosis... all the layers are NEEDS, not “wants” ... yes, environment and situational factors may make getting a sense of belonging more difficult, but it’s still something that everyone needs... as far as Faith goes, that isn’t a need in and of itself (there is nothing virtuous about blind faith) though people’s religious preferences usually DO help in the sense that your church might give you food, you faith can make you FEEL secure, and the community can offer a sense of belonging... but food, security, and belonging can certainly be found in other ways too... and anyone who thinks Jesus is a higher priority than food hasn’t ever been very hungry 😅... notice even Jesus took the need for bread as more basic and obvious so he could make the comparison? If anything he was agreeing with me, ALL of the pyramid are NEEDS, self actualization is just as necessary as food, but it’s the priority that changes from top to bottom, as much as we need self actualization (or obedience to god in Jesus time) you won’t get that far with it if you die of exposure first lol
