trust1g4e: Is the Attempt to Impeach the President consistent with God's Word?

I will speak to the wise concerning the Impeachment of the President and whether or not it is just in the light of God's word.  We the citizens of this nation and those of other nations around the world are now seeing an attempt to impeach the President of the USA by the majority of the House of Representatives all being Democrats and a total partisan endeavor, and the opposition of the attempt by the Senate majority Republicans including 3 Democrats making it a bipartisan defense of the President. Leading the impeachment is Nancy Pelosi who is the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nacy Pelosi stated in a interview ‘I’m not for impeachment’ without bipartisan support, Pelosi says, roiling fellow Democrats. She also stated, impeachment is so divisive to the country that unless there’s something so compelling and overwhelming and bipartisan, I don’t think we should go down that path because it divides the country. With the gavel Nancy Pelosi has established that she and the house majority intend to impeach and remove
President Donald Trump from office.

Matthew, 12:25
“And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand.”

I will point out that the decision to defend Trump consist of both Republicans and Democrats making it officially bipartisan and non divisive, of course people will argue there were only 3 Democrats.

2 Corinthians 13:1
This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.

Nancy Pelosi's actions were contrary to her words.

When God speaks His actions would never contradict His words.

Romans 3:4
God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

I understand that many people dislike the President and may have good reason to, but you must understand that whoever God choose to use for a specific purpose or to deliver a message it is not earned or deserved nor for those who are receptive of the message, it is all by God's grace and mercy, if you read God's words you would see that every time, so I would say to be very careful about attributing something to God that is the opposite of His word.

Isaiah 55:11
So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

God bless, peace
