thumbbuddy: Thanks Yani, yes this is called a Robin. They migrate south in the fall, but what most people don't realize is there is a Northern Robin that is around in the winter months, though seldom seen. Have had a few all winter eating the little berries you see on the tree. It is almost plucked clean now, so not sure where they will go after that.

CatcherAl: This little fella is the same as our Robins we have in the UK. Very tame birds and will always sit close especially if you are digging. They also sing beautifully

thumbbuddy: Yes Al, the Robins usually return in April here, and they certainly do have a beautiful song!! They are ground feeders, so never have them at a bird feeder. they are usually busy doing their business,and pay little attention to you. Cats are always hoping for a tender morsel, lol, but they do pay attention!! Nice to hear from you, hope all is going well! Had a look at your lovely flowers, and so glad you have this wonderful passion, sniff, sniff!!
