The truth is one demonic israeli side is slaughtering the Palestinians while a patient resistance group is fighting with what's little it has. 'Stop the Genocide Now' is definitely more apt after 14 months. Israel have shown little ambition to battle Hamas. Clearly intent on destroying innocent people and all life in Gaza. |

Urgent Concerns Regarding UK Foreign Policy and the Government’s Support for Israel
I am writing as a deeply concerned constituent regarding the UK Government’s continued and seemingly unconditional support for the Israeli Government, despite overwhelming evidence of ongoing war crimes, the systematic destruction of Gaza, and now a reckless escalation into conflict with Iran.
Are you, as my elected representative, aware of the consequences this blind alignment is having—not only on the people of the Middle East but on our own national security, international standing, and moral integrity?
The situation in Gaza is no longer simply a conflict; it has become a humanitarian catastrophe. Independent organisations, including respected UN agencies and human rights groups, have documented indiscriminate bombings, the targeting of civilians, and the collective punishment of an entire population. These are the actions of a state operating with impunity—and yet the UK Government continues to defend them, diplomatically and militarily, without question.
The recent attack on Iran, unprovoked and carried out without any regard for international law or regional stability, further exposes the dangers of allowing our foreign policy to be dictated by Washington’s interests—interests which often align with Israel’s aggressive and expansionist agenda, not with peace or justice.
This trajectory is not only immoral; it is dangerous. The UK’s complicity, whether through silence or overt support, is fanning the flames of a wider regional war and bringing us perilously close to global conflict. If this escalates, British citizens will pay the price—whether through terrorism at home, military entanglements abroad, or the long-term erosion of the rule-based international order we once claimed to uphold.
Why can’t we have a foreign policy that puts British interests first—one based on international law, human rights, and diplomacy—not one dictated by the geopolitical aims of the United States and its allies? Our failure to take an independent and ethical stance has not only made us morally complicit in the devastation of Gaza and the potential ignition of war with Iran, but it has also destroyed what little remains of Western credibility in the eyes of the world.
I urge you to speak out. To challenge this government’s uncritical support for a regime engaging in clear violations of international law. Silence is complicity—and history will judge harshly those who failed to act in a moment such as this.
Please do not respond with empty reassurances or pre-prepared statements. I want to know: what are you personally doing to stop the UK’s support for this genocidal war?
Yours sincerely,
