One of the best movies I've ever seen so funny I laughed the whole way through

The Valverde: I'll bet Thirteen has seen this kind of reaction before. I bet she's been often ostracized for expressing her views and the results of her research to completely oblivious people, many times. And you know what? I don't think there's a way for us to know certain things, important things, about what's truly going on in the world and still remain seemingly innocent, like clueless people. We find a way around the rage that is bound to build up inside us in our search, we learn that knowing what's going on and trying to reach other people is in itself "doing something". It is preserving a less hypocritical account of events, a less "sanitized" version of History, one that hasn't yet been de-clawed and made safe for consumption by the Establishment.
But we're still viewed as outsiders, sometimes. Especially by people who developed coping mechanisms that follow the ostrich model. They know something's going on, something's not right with the House of Cards we built and called "modern society", but these people prefer to deny it, suppressing their own rage against this maddening system, thinking they can party their way into oblivion without a care for tomorrow, their children's tomorrow, or that of anyone else for that matter.
But we, the curious people, the ones who can't let go... we know there is hope. We know we'll never give Them the satisfaction of watching us give up.
Thirteen Descents in reply to The Valverde: Exactly. I refuse to live my life believing everything I see, hear or read without question. Knowledge is power after all. I refuse to be a sheep in an over crowded flock, even though even I think I should be wearing a tinfoil hat sometimes because it would be easier to think that I am crazy rather than accepting the truth that we live in a crazy world.
