The_River_Home: Here’s what acclaimed film director, Martin Scorsese had to say about ‘Marvel’ movies in a recent interview: “I don’t see them. I tried, you know? But that’s not cinema. Honestly, the closest I can think of them, as well made as they are, with actors doing the best they can under the circumstances, is theme parks. It isn’t the cinema of human beings trying to convey emotional, psychological experiences to another human being," View all 8 posts rainsgame888: River, this seems to be the only way to converse with you, hope you don't mind. In the Religion room the other nite you asked me for insight to what I wrote about Communism on your blog. I'm not a Marxist or Capitalist and I don't follow any of the parties, Dem or Rep...I think all governments in the world today are bad, soul sucking ideologies....I make up my own mind about what I think is wrong or right.Of course I never vote, because no mater which side wins the same government always gets in. As for not wanting to talk with you because your a Marxist, that would be a stupid thing for me to do, there are good people and bad people in all ideologies. From listening too you and talking with you in rooms, we seem to agree on alot. The_River_Home: Hi [rainsgame888], and thanks for responding. I think you, like many sensitive people have a sense of the iniquities inherent within our Global systems but are lied to about the true, revolutionary nature of Socialism. Which is the only philosophy the ruling elites are actually afraid of incidentally. Nothing else represents a credible threat. There are only two [contradictory] ideological forces in our World which are at play. One is distinct, well organised and properly funded; representing the interests of the exploiters: Capitalism. The other, amorphous, subjugated by myth and distortions deliberately propagated through privately owned media; representing the combined interests of the masses: Socialism. Sailor_Mercury: Hello! Thanks for the add. It's rare to find left-leaning friends on Wireclub of all places. The_River_Home: You are very welcome [Sailor_Mercury]. There are a few, but it must be said that there are many more Leftists than there are Socialists, on Wire or anywhere else. It is interesting to note also that most surveys of political opinion portray available parameters of choice as merely a single continuum; with far Left and Right at the edges and Moderate tendencies somewhere at the centre; when in reality both and all references of such trends refer to wings of the same Capitalist ideology. And so in this way Socialism, which denotes an entirely separate ideological belief is in effect censored/negated from inclusion, and therefore from all discussion. Sailor_Mercury: Most definitely. Liberalism is a wing of bourgeois ideology. I've always found it kind of interesting to see how this manifests in surveys in places like Facebook who've quantified my political perspectives as "very liberal" because it lacks the ideological infrastructure to properly assess it. I'm literally off the scale! The_River_Home: LOL - Delighted to associate with those who do not fit snugly into the prerequisite slots laid down to accommodate and encourage conformism. For all the big social media platforms however, any alternative political ideology will result in the routine shadow censorship of an account, and the blacklisting of an ISP address. wcm112233: Not only Racism pollution from Capitalism Killing our earth Micro plastics in Oceans, airborne, and in our stools. This fact is based on anthropological studies which reveal that once early Man shed the body hair typical of other primates and separated from their foliage rich habitats, he was exposed to harsh sunlight. Dense fur covers up a pale unhealthy-looking skin on most primates and has protective benefits, but it also tends to harbour blood-sucking parasites. So greater quantities of melanin were required for sparsely follicled Humans to avoid the cancerous results of constant exposure to the Sun; allowing Mankind to explore his Universe. The utterly corrupt arrest, persecution, imprisonment and fining of British teenage rape victim in Ayia Napa was a political, not legal decision by Cyprus, in support of their Israeli partners, currently engaged, along with Greece, in a fledgling Eastern Mediterranean trilateral block
Here the gang-rapists are escorted to a chauffeur driven escort; back home to Israel.
