12 years ago • Report 0 the real slim DEEPy: naw its an outdated 24/96 studio recording card, for a win nt/95/98-based DAW. had to study the chipset, to find compatible drivers from another brand for win xp. with the limitation of 95, i upgrade hardware up to a 1.1ghz athlon thunerbird, and dropped in 1.25gigs of ram, 3rd party partitioned 2 160gb 7200rps hard drives to have 127gb fat32 partitions, the bios partition limit, at the time. then, fond that the thunderbirds were still incompatible with the win98 drivers then, i went to a pentium 3 rig, via apollo chipset with 756mb of ram only, with this 3 slot- 256mb per slot chipset. the 733mh pentium 3, @850mh, to open the fsb to 150mhx- as the 200mhz athlon fsb really allowed for lower buffers in the otherwise glitchiness of the failed rig. ginmill: sounds like you ate a manual for breakfast, there are easier ways of introducing fiber to ones diet deep, lol |
