The Dark Flower: Privacy is a myth!

For all my friends who don't know, I record all conversations including DMs.
Anything you say to me or against me COULD be used against you.
If you want to tell me something that you don't want others to know then you must tell me otherwise assume what you say could be shared with others and used against you.

As a person who advocates Free Speech, I also advocate personal responsibility.
So be responsible for what you say and own up to what you say.

I am The Dark Flower. A Flower of Darkness. And this Flower has Thorns.
Please be cautious!
Thanks

Ravens Flight
Ravens Flight: I don't think it's illegal to log chats. All of the old instant messenger programmes like Trillion and Pidgin came with built-in chat logging.

Public wireclub chat rooms are logged and cached. Legally accessing past cached chat room logs isn't difficult if you know how.

SumTzuZero in reply to billingsguy28: Actually thats not true, Federal law permits recording telephone calls and in-person conversations with the consent of at least one of the parties (So if you consent then you are fine). The law you are refering to is to keep a person from secretly recording the conversation of 2 or more people without anyone knowingt See 18 U.S.C. 2511(2)(d). This is called a "one-party consent" law. Under a one-party consent law, you can record a phone call or conversation so long as you are a party to the conversation.
