The Orthodox Christians talk about theosis. I think all this is important in witnessing to those in Eastern religions. Also, Jesus as the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. Not just as a divine act done by God, but by what He taught us, to forigve in order to be forgiven, to wrestle not with other people at all but to pray for them. I have a background in Eastern religion and I know much of the thinking is concerned with who is more spiritual (but they only really see what is in the flesh), which results in much sin.
