 |             Super Esquire: James' baptismal font 7 years ago • Report 0 Super Esquire: 12 oxen shall hold James up, one for each month of the year and each of the 12 tribes. One day, James will be doing proxy baptisms in this font. Super Esquire: Christ taught that all who make it to heaven must be born of water and spirit. Born of the water (baptism), is a requirement for all, regardless of whether they had a chance to be exposed to the gospel in this life or the next. God will not condemn to hell those who never had a chance to be exposed to christ or be baptized in this life, hence the need for the baptism for the dead (proxy baptism), spoken of in the new testament. One day my friend, James, will be helping in this effort. There is much work to be done. Super Esquire: Say it aint so Burning! Did he drag his feet for so long you went into despair? I tried to get him to know the importance of spirit inspired ordinances, and accept his rightful place in the proxy baptismal font, but he has been dragging his feet! I totally know how you feel! Super Esquire: What James doesnt realize is that Christ came to fulfill, not destroy, the law. He is destroying the higher gospel law of christ, instead of fulfilling it by spirit inspired ordinances like proxy baptism. |
