Straywolf: My heart is heavy with this war. It is not a war of necessity. It is a war of ego..of a dying star demanding he outshine the heavens.
Neither the people of Ukraine nor of Russia want this. Thousands protesting and being arrested in Moscow and St. Petersburg prove this. The Ukraine will fall shortly if others do not step in for her. And that could be the trigger for bloodshed and loss of life like this generation has only read about. Will we drown in the blood, or learn from the errors of the past?

sentinel90: I think you need to examine history and NATO encirclement to learn why Russian was effectively forced into this position. Ukraine dammed a major fresh water reservoir to Crimea, a major strategic source of natural gas. But I get the feeling you would rather wax poetic and virtue signal than understand that you are effectively being fed propaganda by the US government.
