steffi1231: Last night was the first Halloween that I had in my new home. I decided to sit out front with my furbaby, Gracie, and hand out candy and treats. 2 of my neighbors had fire pits in their front yards, which were so cool. I want one now! One of the neighbors with the fire pit, invited me over for a glass of wine, and we sat and talked for about an hour. People are so friggin nice here, a welcome change from the area I moved away from. The Trick or Treaters were adorable in their costumes and were very polite. I actually had to really encourage them to take more then 1 candy, assuring them that it was fine. All in all, an awesome night and an equally fantastic day today, because we are finally getting some much needed rain. Focus on the positive, not the negative. Life is good
