View all 4 posts  BlondeJenius: Super cute! 1 year ago • Report 0  specled2u: hit the Appalachain Trail for a short out and back of 6 miles. started at Newfound Gap, went east a bit - visited a scenic site called the Jump Off - it overlooks a huge valley north-east of Gatlinburg. View all 10 posts  specled2u: threw ingredients from several different recipes together and came up with cinnamon roll waffles with pecan-praline topping!   specled2u: Well - today was supposed to be a work outside day - the threat of rain put a stop to that - so making pecan-praline sticky buns it is!  specled2u: This month's photo competition is birds - after complaining about pileated woodpeckers, I submitted my photo of a wren building her nest. 15 minutes after I clicked send (and I hit my entry limit) - this lady was posing for me specled2u: one of my photographic nemesis - these guys are big birds - you would think they would be easy to find!  specled2u: Went to a scenic overlook in Great Smoky Mountains National Park to (hopefully) see the northern lights. Alas, the (unlighted) road had more cars then a chic-fil-a drive through at rush hour - and half the parking spaces.
