Retired career firefighter/fire officer/EMT; >DO NOT THANK ME FOR MY SERVICE(been thanked more than I deserve). Medical issues forced me to leave job. People with whom I went to school with, used to work with and some so called friends played painful, hurtful jokes and pranks on me. I usually read your profiles before i engage in conversation with you. I keep people at arms length. I do not play jokes on people nor do i expect to be the recipient of jokes and/or pranks. Christian, married; (wife not knowing I am on Wire-club)-no children, dislike profanity. Have issues with today's society, generally serious lack of courtesy, discipline, manners, respect (and a few more I cant remember); I have emotional issues, but like to talk to others. By the way, any private conversations, are treated as priviledged. I dont spread things around.
Southern Firefighter to jcmaxx1000: Request from Chris siegler
Heavenly Father, we lift up this lady, who recently died from dementia. We respectfully ask she be given rest and peace from this dreaded disease.
We also lift up her family, as they had to watch as her mind gradually eroded away from reality. We know this is just a small burden of our lives, but it is a sad burden never the less. Please place your hedge of protection and love around this family. There are questions many have, but there are no answers here. We know people who have or are being afflicted with this disease along with its effects on the family. Watch and protect them Lord, as well as their families. Help them during this trying time, especially in our nation Lord. We ask this in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ, Amen
Southern Firefighter to Chris siegler: Father God, we come to you with saddened hearts at the passing of Ashley. We know she is at peace, and that she is in your presence. These are a small part of the burden of life, but still a saddened part of life we all must endure. We pray for your hedge of love, protection and understanding for her family and friends, grieving her passing from this life, with the hope and assurance of being re-united again. Watch over her family and friends, and help them remember the good times and influences she had on others. For it is in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ, we pray, Amen
