I'm an apatheist

Apatheism is an attiude that the very question of whether or not deities exist is not relevant or meaningful in life. Apatheists are not even interested in addressing any claims for or against god(s). Almost literally "I don't care about gods." It's not a claim, belief or belief system but an attitude.

I like ancient history because it gives you an idea of where people, nation, tradition etc. Originated

I respect religion, because of what it has to offer and I enjoyed and respect different point of view. Hating on religion is waste of time no matter how much you hate these different religions it will always exist.

I'm not afraid to state my opinions, I will not sugar coat my opinions just to make you feel better about yourself. I'll state it straight forward and if you don't like my opinions and you want me to just blindly just agree with everything you say or believe then you got the wrong person.

I don't got time for debates, so if you looking for someone to debate with turn the other direction and find someone else because that's a waste of time and energy that I can use for something else. You already took a position on something and me debating my position isn't going to change anything you'll only going to get mad because my opinions is no in line with yours. If you ask me a question about what I stand for I'll happily talk to you about it or about anything I don't mind sharing.

I don't got time for trolls and assholes, if you're both of these you'll be blocked immediately.

Don't come private messaging me with drama and shit, again I got better things to do.

I'm a no bullshit type of person

Don't you dare badmouth me, if you have a problem with something, come to me about in private and we can work it out.

Don't you dare twist my words, put words in my mouth that I didn't say, or twist a situation that never happened because you are pissed off about something I said or because I don't agree with what you on certain things.

Seraphim37: Can someone tell me what I said was wrong and off the wall or "absurd" some people would call it?
I guess some people are either soft, just like to play, victim and felt convection of what I said which has nothing to do with you... I believe someone accused me of "shame-blaming", well if you feel shame or have some kind of ill feeling to what I have said then that's on you not me. Maybe you should instead of twisting one's words and point the blame on someone else, you should take the time to reflect on why what someone says bother you so much...

Jaguar Essence in reply to Seraphim37: What's important is celebrating the state of one's inner peace, joy, gratitude, and acceptance one has for oneself, and share it with others. Festivities are a collective reminder of what should be celebrated independently with ourselves

prairwarur: I have more information on this if you'd like it? My thoughts are if the date were that important then God would have said so, as He had done with other dates, festivals or feasts He wanted us to remember and celebrate. Like Passover, for instance.
Keep up the great work, Sera! I think you've found your calling in writing!

prairwarur: Well done, Sera! I admire your dedication to the research, which seems quite extensive!

The point that always hits home to me is that all things mentioned in the article about these celebrations and those items used, were all created by God. They first belonged to Him, and still do belong to Him alone.
Humankind is quite given to symbolism and dedicating various objects, either natural or man made, to the object of their affection, adoration, or the celebrations. Changing the meanings or uses of these objects, and/or ideas will never change true ownership, Creator God. IMHO

Seraphim37: @Mim613 if you reading this, why would I use a screen name that I don't know what it means? I know exactly what seraphim. Seraphim means the fiery one's describe in the book of Isaiah 6:1-2 and saraph means "to burn". Seraphim is describe as a six winged angel that resemblance a human being described by Isaiah chapter 6:2-7.
