Friends | Not single and not looking, but do enjoy a chat with anyone! I generally enjoy room chatting, I'm sorry if you message me and I don't answer, I'm not trying to be impolite I just can't multitask both and very frequently wander off and forget I'm in chat π I totally support you in your quest for sexually explicit chat, but please don't bring it to my chat box - good luck out there! But it's a grueling time and no one wants to hear that they have to pay more. And when people get mouthy I get REAL honest all of a sudden, it's a problem lol. janelane: I'm not sure what budget season is and it sounds like I'm lucky. It was an ortho appt, one that one rescheduled several times because I'm a terrible ortho patient who doesn't wear them like I should. My dentist came in. "Is it cold in here?" No? "Oh, I thought hell had frozen over" π Scanningforlifeforms in reply to evergreendr: I'm definitely going to try, I've only worn them a couple of times! Got off from work early at 3:30. Picked up my babies and met a mom friend with her babies for a play date at the library. Stayed there about 2 hours, talked and read our respective books. (I'm rereading this one, a favorite from when I was young). Then we went home and rested up and met up at the splash pad at 7:30 for some sundown fun after the 115 degree day. I bought these reusable water balloons and glowsticks and we all had SO much fun. Put the babies to bed and really wanted to go out dancing a bit, a local band I like is at the lounge this week. Couldn't get anyone to go so I went by myself and met two ladies in their 60s-70s who were an absolute hoot, we danced every song for two sets. Hung out with the band after their set and we talked about hockey, football, and Vegas sports, and all of our favorite songs and music moments. I also hit two 4 of a kinds between sets! My week started out with a letter from a customer that ended with "I know 100% that God and Jesus are on my side and want me to speak up against people like you who sold their soul to the devil" π Because I let him know IN MARCH that we'd have a respectful conversation or none at all and kicked him out of a meeting. So really needed that humanity win yesterday with which to go into the weekend. β¨οΈ Side note, this band's set started with Prince's Let's Go Crazy, Push It by Salt and Pepa in the middle and ended with Your Cheatin' Heart at the end. So varied, so fun! View all 8 posts Scanningforlifeforms in reply to Sunny B Blessed: Ah thanks Sunny, hard learned in my early twenties but it's served me well since then! Scanningforlifeforms: Drop everything you're doing and look at the cuuuutest backpack π± I saw this on someone while I was in Disney World, I looked it up immediately and they were going for 100-200 bucks. But I found this used one for only $40! It'll be "used" real quick with me, so I was fine with that. Some other pics from the world - I Disneybounded as provincial life Belle and my girl went with fancier gold dress Belle (blocked out here in case of weird internet strangers). But by the end of the day I was just exhausted and drenched with rain Belle ![]() My new work coffee cup. Someone said, that's all? Just a wallet? And he said "well, you rub it and it turns into a suitcase" Scanningforlifeforms: I was lying on the couch at 8:30 and saw a post on fb from Bunnie XO that it was 7-7-7 today. I decided to go throw $20 in my favorite video poker bank. Then I decided to go play bingo because the bonus ball was high. I'm glad I did! π° Three 4 of a kinds - one of them Aces with a kicker!! And I bingo'd the first game for $300! Left at midnight as 7-7-7 came to a close. β¨οΈ View all 16 posts Scanningforlifeforms in reply to Suzanne aka Suzie: That's exactly how I play too Suzie! Scanningforlifeforms in reply to ikilledjohnwick: That's always so weird to me too, you'll see someone just feed and feed and feed the same machine that isn't paying out. Makes no sense. Scanningforlifeforms: I've been out of town for almost 2 weeks. Vacation in Florida and then traveling around the Research Triangle area to see if it's a good option to relocate. This sounds like a serious post, but it's not, my cute dog everytime we video chat π₯Ή Scanningforlifeforms: Wasted no time! We had a delay in our first flight so got to Denver late and didn't get to eat dinner. HUNGRY, even though it was 11pm Nevada time. We walked in and Fetty Wap was blasting out of the juke box, "too loud" for the space. Then it went to Blink 182, not even the obvious What's My Age Again but throwing it back farther to "Dammit", some Destiny's Child, Aerosmith. While we ate a trucker came in, another family fresh off a flight and then a gorgeous girl in a sparkly sequin dress, walking in from the club. That yummy waffle, hashbrowns with that fake plastic kraft single, that type of food that always hits after midnight. I know these are all reasons why some people hate Waffle House too... But vibe continues to be immaculate keep it up ππ₯Ή Scanningforlifeforms: Had to indulge and get one right away since I'll be on a plane to Florida next week ![]() View all 9 posts Scanningforlifeforms in reply to evergreendr: Most days I am just WAITING for someone to start one π |
Ate at STK, family style so the 6 of us could try a lot of different things. It was good and the ambiance was a lot of fun but spending that much on one meal HURTS ME DEEP.
Snuck into a Sting concert at a dental convention. He's so talented, but π΄, all due respect.
Tried out Brewdog. These are not my pics, I just thought the ambiance was super cool. Rooftop, fun music, lots of games. Good beer and ciders.
Everyone went to bed but I found this really fun band to help me shake off Sting. They were great!
I ended the night doing a chubby walk of no-shame past the huge line of dressed up youngins in front of the club at Hakkasan, balancing salted caramel Gelato on top of a slice of Buffalo chicken pizza and free champagne that was all about to be one throated upon arrival to my room.
It's not that I don't have fun on the Strip. It's that I have MORE fun in other, lower key, less expensive locales.
I'll remember for another 1.5 years until I forget and ultimately try it again π€·π»ββοΈ
Happy weekend π₯
