RubyAdams: Interesting all of the anti-Asian talk and violence.
Just thought I'd share a bit of personal information. One of my aunts (by marriage) is Korean, from South Korea. She married my uncle (who speaks fluent Korean) and moved to America when I was about 5 years old. She's just always been my Aunt Kwi, I never gave it much thought. My three cousins are half Korean and their children are a quarter Korean. For that matter, my adopted sister is South Korean and my niece is half Korean.
Never gave it much though until today when someone complained to me about her son's girlfriend being Chinese. I asked, "and?" was told the Chinese and all Asians are this and that (I won't even type it out). I furled my brow and was asked "what?" Said "I'm trying to decided if now is the right time to tell you I have Asian family members or if I should wait and see where you're going with this particularly offensive display of racism."
What is wrong with people? What is happening to our country? I have to think the racism has always been there but the last President and members of his party just allowed and encouraged it to be put on display. That man still used names like "China Virus" and "Kung Flu." Since he's actually had the disease and watched it run rampant in our country while doing nothing, wouldn't it be more aptly named Trumpitis? He loves seeing his name on shit.
Srchng4Truth in reply to e_malekpour1377: No one would win in a nuclear war. I hope it does not happen. I know I am only one American, but I would just like to say that I would not like to bomb anywhere.
Sunny B Blessed: It certainly is disheartening, that the last president we had encouraged racism and hatred, and all the closet-racists were encouraged to come out of the sewer and act violently on their hatred.
Demonizing entire races of people with propaganda is what led to the Holocaust in Nazi Germany. And back then, the only means of propaganda was newspapers, radio, and other things. That all happened, and that was BEFORE Fox "News" and the internet. I'm pretty scared.
