0  sssssttt4: Take heart: we may have explored the islands behind, the ones that lay in our wake and drift into the distance, but those islands that lay ahead are still unexplored. We only know them from rumours, whispers floating across choppy seas. It is when we first feel our feet on the new lands and smell the perfumes of unfamiliar botany that our eyes will open and we shall see the world, afresh with new possibilities.
