DontNeedChrist: NO ANSWERS. NO EXPLANATIONS. ONLY DEFLECTIONS AND PERSONAL ATTACKS. FLAT EARTH DEBUNKED.
DontNeedChrist: A hurricane in the Northern hemisphere always has winds that blow counter-clockwise, However, in the southern hemisphere, hurricanes spin in the other direction, clockwise!
This is called the Coriolis effect, and it means that the wind will change direction based on how the world is spinning underneath it.
PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY HURRICANES SPIN IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION IN THE HEMISPHERES.
DontNeedChrist: Why with the naked eye can we SEE the other planets are clearly round? Why would the Earth be different?
DontNeedChrist: If the Earth were flat, everyone on the night side of the Earth would see the same sky. In the northern latitude location the Big and Little Dippers, the bright orange giant Arcturus, and the Pleiades, among others can be seen. Yet if you head to the south pole, none of these are visible, but you can see Alpha Centauri, the Magellanic Clouds, and the Southern Cross, all of which are never visible to most northern hemisphere.
PLEASE EXPLAIN THIS IF THE EARTH IS FLAT.

DontNeedChrist: Eratosthenes, born around 276 B.C. in Cyrene, Libya was one of the most famous mathematicians of his time. He is best known for making the first recorded measurement of the Earth's circumference.
Eratosthenes measured the shadow of an obelisk on June 21 at noon. He discovered that the sun was about 7°14' from being directly overhead. He realized that, because the Earth is curved, the greater the curve, the longer the shadows would be. This could not be on a flat Earth.
PLEASE EXPLAIN THIS.
DontNeedChrist: If the Earth were flat, the sun's rays would always come in at the same angle, meaning that the USA, Australia, Italy, and Argentina would all experience the seasons the same exact way. Please explain this.
DontNeedChrist: Why are cruise ships navigated by a GPS satellite system that's based on a CURVATURE using 24 satellites?
On June 19, 240 BCE, Eratosthenes of Cyrene measured the shadow angle of a sundial in Alexandria, Egypt. From this measurement, he estimated the CIRCUMFERENCE of the Earth with surprising accuracy.
