Reduce Edmonton Bus Prices NOWWWW

The Youth and Senior rate is $2.25 and the Adult rate is $2.50. They should be the same price and Edmonton Transit is planning to raise them to $2.50 across the board. However, if I have to get a new job that pays $6.00 an hour less than the last job, the bus fares should all be reduced to an even 2 bucks across the board.

This reflects the declining / deflationary economy. Plus ridership should be going up so economies of scale kick in. Plus people just have less money to spend. Plus why quarter people to death? Let them have a 2 dollar coin and get on the bus no hassles.

As for the bus tickets that are 18 bucks for a pack of 10, just change the price to $20.00 GST included.

The monthly bus pass can stay the same at $68.50.

Catepillar stock price down...

Caterpillar stock down, oil price up.... which is a disconnect. Caterpillar's drastic drop in sales and layoff announcements of 20,000 means globla demand for diesel fuel for construction equipment is going down. So the oil price should go down.

Also the 20,000 firings are a fraction of the global numbers released today. All these people fired will not be flying out on vacation in 2009.

Obama said he wants cars making 35 mpg by 2011 and built in america which raises protectionism issues, especially for canada. These cars have been made in europe and russia for decades, but will not be imported into america given Obama's speech today.

Hyper-inflation is unlikely as the trillions of dollars being spent by washington will be offset by the trillions borrowed by americans in the past to buy houses, cars, holidays, luxury services, etc. My roommates bought 30 dollar hair clippers for the wives to cut the husbands hair, saving $12 a haircut. There are many ways for people to cut back.

1) He wants to "save" all the little people that got hurt through the currency inflation process of the last decade. This will be done with new tools he'll have in the future. Perhaps this is true, but where were you while the process was goining on? How did you campaign to stop what was going on? Other people have written many papers and books on the problems that were going on then and saying how the process had to be stopped.

2) He apologized for the tax evasion on IMF director income. But he turned it around that he was sorry that such a small issue took the light away from the big problems facing the country.

3) He belongs to the same Kissinger club as many others and is a Henry Paulson clone.

To summarize watching him testify I wouldn't trust him to run the US Treasury. Unless he has secret information to do good, and not secret information to do harm.

Yesterday Mr. Geigthner appeared surprised AIG was giving out $165 million in bonuses. As a business analyst writely said on BNN today he should have known back in November when his bailout was fashioned that they were sceduled to be paid out. Furthermore being a wallstreet insider all along he should have been tuned into the practice of wallstreet bonuses for decades.

The War of 1812 and 9/11....

The War of 1812 and 9/11... are two of the wars that involved attacks on the US from foreign nationals.

After each of these wars ended there were huge expansions in FIAT currency and perceived productivity that goes along with it. Currently in "The Creature from Jekyll Island" book I'm on the chapter focusing on 1837 and the Bank of North America and the Bank of United States are both recent history of closed down central banks. In 2008 there was a grass movement afoot to "End the Fed". So we could be in the historical cycle similar to the 1837 to 1843 great depression and not the 1929 - 1939 great depression. Either way stocks will take a beating over the next couple of years.

Regardless of the historical cycle being mirrored, the fact remains we've gone through a period of incredible expansion in housing, offices, malls, telecommunications, computers, planes, trains and automobiles. We have lots of "stuff" that we can enjoy and use. In the process people earned hundreds of thousands of dollars a year and worked crazy 60 to 80 hour work weeks. They all worked to hard and created so much, they are creating unemployment for themselves now.

These high wage earners cannot be saved by unemployment insurance and make payments on an 800K mortgage.

Now you know how bad things are going to be, with the government spend more money strategy on top of the government has spent too much money in the first place pyramid.

David and Goliath...

David and Goliath... is a story from long ago. It is a young Israeli lad named David who slew a giant named Goliath with a well aimed rock to the head.

The Palestinians are lobbing fire crackers 7 miles into Israel. Isreal responds with billions of dollars worth of war machine. Today the roles are reversed from biblical days.

As I type this the United Nations Security Council is scheduled to discuss the Israeli army's incursion into Gaza, 200 square miles about the size of Edmonton, with twice the population of Edmonton.

In the book "The Creature from Jekyll Island" page 401 shows a picture John D. Rockefellar III handing a 8.5 million dollar cheque to the first secretary general of the UN to purchase Manhattan land for the UN building in March 1947. Many wireclub users are aware of the Rothchild's role in central banking and the creation of FIAT currency. The Rockefellars were also heavily into the FIAT game. The UN created Israel in 1949 by political power, military force and most of all FIAT currency looking for places to expand.

I've been screaming to abolish the UN since 2003 and I've been screaming for peace in Palestine and Israel as well.

The current conflict is spearheaded by Ehud Barak in this election year where he hopes to become Prime Minister, just as Ariel Sharon using his fame from the 67 war. Granted in the end Sharon took on a more peaceful stance.

Look how they divided Palestine between the West Bank and Gaza. You can't effectively run a geographically split peoples. Look how they divided Palestine politics between Hamas and Palestinian Authority. You can't rule one group of peoples with two separate power bases. Look how all goods and services must blow through Israel to reach Palestine.

Look how Israel has the Star of David on her flag. An icon for raising jewish money from all over the world for Israel's "home of God" or "home for Jews".

Remember the holocaust the jews suffered in World War II, creating Israel in 1949 was a forward thinking maneouver by Christians paired up with Athiests to create a future war between Muslims and Jews.

They will argue about the details of the current conflict, but the fact is the basis for conflict was created long ago. Had Israel simply fied homemade rockets into Gaza and killed two people, the world would not have cared as deeply as it will on January 5th, 2009.

Why did they launch the invasion at night? Why to use the $60,000 night vision goggles of course. Businesses will profit from the destruction weapons and later from the rebuilding.

The Palestinians are living in a professional refugee camp. The UN gives out food in Palestine. The UN is part of the global problems and for every dollar spent on "victims" many times more pays UN salaries and goes to lucrative contracts the UN hands out. It was a hoax of us children carrying around Unicef boxes to collect pennies, nickles and dimes for the UN at Hallowe'en. That spare change collected was more costly than revenue it generated, so it was for symbolism. The real revenue comes from governments that use FIAT currency to pay UN bills.

YOU must go out and peacefully protest, not just this conflict, but the whole process of creating the foundations that lead to this conflict and others in the region.

The Rothchilds, Rokerfellars and other bankers and corporations they control give money to both George Bush's party and Barak Obama's party, so don't exepct your so-called elected leaders to do anything. At the UN Security Council the US, Russia and perhaps China have veto power over any resolution, so nothing definitive can possibly come out of the UN. But the UN is a proxy for the illusion of getting something done, without explaining the root causes of problems.

Only YOU can go out and peacefully demonstrate. When enough people protest the evil that got us here, then goodly forces can be empowered to act.

Tony Blair, who I dubbed "Anthony B'liar" in 2003 was put in charge of the Peace Quartet a couple of years ago. Then he went on last year to Goldman Sachs at 5 million dollars a year. Back 100 years ago JP Morgan was heavily into financing war operations. I would imagine Goldman Sachs is doing that today given former Goldman President Henry Paulson's position in the US Treasury today. Also given the 700 billion dollar bailout Paulson created and the 10's of billions given to Goldman Sachs.

So Anthony B'Liar, operating under the guise of peace talks can actually learn all the hot buttons to create war in the region. Plus he can get lucrative financing rights to all sides in the battlefield.

The Palestinians go to Israel to work. With the coming global depression, Israel will have less money to spend. Destroying buildings in Gaza today, will lead to more business profits later. The draft in Israel, gives unemployeed Israelis something to do.

I appreciate the desire for violent uprising, but i hate the sight of blood and guts.

The hostilities appear to be over now. Rather than debating the invasion itself, the UN took the anger of the world and channelled it into use of "illegal types of weapons". So the UN and Israeli now get to argue if the right or wrong types of weapons were used in the invasion.

A classic type of smoke screen.
