I hate all the hatred
I’m seeing and feeling
I hate all the feelings
all the lies,
double dealings
hatred erupting
like a volcano full blown
hatred nurtured
hatred home grown
hatred is cheered
like a victory lap
bled into buckets
as trees shedding sap
hate anything different
what goes ‘gainst the grain
if there’s hate in your heart
there’s hate in your brain
mindless aint kindness
is your mental aware
why is it so hard
to show that you care
welcome your friends
and strangers alike
make love the goal
like a sound lightning strike
extend helping hands
united we stand
hatred has no place
don’t let hatred land
