poisonivy12: a poem If I Were A Tree If i were tree just what would i be, a stately elm,a weeping willow,or a whispering pine.Would the wind gently rustle my leaves,or shake my branches bending to the ground.Would i have birds nesting or squirrels scampering up my trunk.Will my leaves change to glorious color,when the autumn winds come.Will my mighty roots anchor me so i stand tall and strong.Would i be loved and adored by people as i gently shade them from the sun.Would my sap flow freely for all to enjoy,oh i cannot say for im not a tree i am just me.Oh how i wish tho that i could be that tall and stately glorious tree.
