Asleep in his arms
Not knowing death, fear or pain
To look in his eyes.

Cowering, dead eyes
Letting color pass through them

Blistering sunlight

Cold chill passing by
Small drops dripping down my tongue
Grainy to the touch.

Soft, sweet and simple
Every moment away aches

Thunder and rain
Lightning impaling the ground
Roaring with pain
Floods and twisters
Fire burning the ashes
Out of the dust
Life tumbles and splashes.

Wind moaning around you
Whipping rain at your side
Lightning ignites the earth
Extinguishing at the tide.

As I looked out upon the waters
My eyes go wide with bewilderment.
To my right, the sun is shining high,
A deep blue and not a cloud in the sky.
But to my left, the moon shimmers off the water,
Darkness surrounds it, millions of eyes glistening,
Watching over their daughter.

The night and day have settled their differences
And come together as one.
No longer separate and distant.
Standing along the line, part of me cold, the other warm.
Seeing two worlds collide, its creatures stumbling in confusion.
The nocturnal and diurnal meeting for the first time.

A mind blocked by confusion and hate, unable to concentrate on love
When at times that is all one can think of.
To feel the soften of your skin, slip over mine
The warmth of your body, mixing with the scent of wine.
I watch your every move, losing myself with your eyes as they pierce my soul..my very essence.

When my body is in hysteria and my soul bleeds from pain,
The very sound of your voice is so serene, it wills me into composure.

Not willing to let the world destroy me, to destroy you, to destroy everything that we could possibly have.
Having the patience to wait only a little longer leads me to the possibility of insanity.
All I desire is you, you’re everything I need, my intensity confers with my love for you, of you.
When every word that breaks from your lips, every gesture that escapes from your body, every time you look out from those eyes upon me..I lose control and melt.

To be in love and loving everything about you
Not seeing a life without you..
Or time to not need you..

Looking out across the vast abyss
Hoping to see the end of something
To make up for the miles of nothing.

Upon the horizon
If one can be found,
A light, in the surrounding darkness
I stand out.

Alone and confused
Visions blind to what is real
Letting in only deceit
A victim of thyself.

Arms outstretched,
Fingers searching for anything…
Something that is felt
In the emptiness that was created
Out of the destruction of thy soul.

The air, still, yet cold
Engulfing and smothering what fire
May have existed, only perhaps
Too long ago to remember.
