This year, the president's administration is implementing a new initiative called "The Brain Initiative" in hopes that we learn more about the molecular underpinnings of things like memory, and it is a 100 million dollar investment. Since i'm interested in neuroscience and i assume you might be too, i thought it would be a fun thing to share. So what's the goal with "The Brain Initiative"? Is it to boost memory on a molecular level? How deep has research gone in understanding the brain on the molecular level?
