dablitzkid: I think this is not an arrowhead but a projectile spearhead. It has a worked waist at one end for securely attaching it to the cleavened shaft of a spear. It would be far too heavy a projectile point to serve as an arrowhead. This opinion is based on my extensive involvement with UK flint-made tools. Granted the Amerindian cultures developed separately from European cultures but this Mesolithic (hunter-gatherer) weaponry has the same basic construction.
