pbelfi: Well it's been 8 months since my wife has passed, and I still feel strange coming to grips that this situation is really permanent! This is the part that I hate so much, and sometimes I find myself in denial, and find myself not believing that she is really gone.....Sad huh? Anyway, the past few weeks I have been approached by friends that I should start seeing other people....Damn I don't think I am ready to like go out on dates, and actually have a long term relationship again. I get this feeling of betrayal every time I think of getting into a relationship ....So for now, I think I will just stick to a quick lunch or going out for coffee and being casual friends with woman.... I often wondered if my feelings are normal. I think of my girls, who are still trying to cope, as am i with their mother's passing....I pray that God gives me the strength to be strong for them! They say that it gets easier as time passes, but so far I am finding that it gets maybe a little more tolerable rather than easier!
