Endangered Species Act - USA

Richard Nixon in his state of the Nation address in 1970 spoke of the damage done by humans to the environment and whether the political will existed in the USA to rectify matters.
In the last 30 years only 3% of over 2000 listed species have been removed from the list - having recovered enough.
In the last 2 years over 60 bills have been introduced by Republicans to water down and downgrade species protection.
Now Trump and his lunatic right wing fringe are going all out to do away with species protection.
