How important is the role of Father in a child’s life We only needs to look at the significance of the relationship between God the Father and his son. First of all God reveals himself as Father. How utterly amazing is this, He could of revealed himself in so many ways, Mighty, All powerrful, Just , Holy, and all these ways would of been more than correct, but he chose to reveal himself as Father. We look and see how he was with his only begotten son, He revealed from the heavens, this is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased. He provided for His son, it was wriiten in the wilderness after satan tested Jesus, God the Father sent angels to minister and feed him. All through Jesus earthly life , we can see how the Father guided him and taught him. Perhaps at the end of his eartly lif e we see the most prounounced love, in Jesus prayer in John 17:5 And now, O
25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that
thou hast sent me. 26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. But the Fathers love was doing great He included us in his love.
We now can be born again and become a child of the Father, we can cry Abba Father, and be a part of the great love the Father has for us. So how important is a Fathers love? Well just ask the Heavenly Father, John 3;16 For God so loved the World he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in Him, should not perish but have eternal life. When you realize how the Father loved us enough to save us, We as Fathers are moved to do all we can for our children, and give them every opportunity on this earth to be blessed. A Father needs to be firm, at times, and give wisdom, advice, and be a good listener, Father must be tender at times and always forgiving, we only need to look at the Father above to see how we must be.
