God incarnate in the person of Christ Jesus, the chosen-Anointed one

God incarnate in the person of Christ Jesus, the chosen-Anointed one. One of the key reasons that God humbled Himself and took on flesh becoming “fully human” and setting aside his heavenly glory and privileges is explained in Hebrews 2:18: “Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.” It is evidence that our Heavenly Father came to earth to model for us how to live and cope with struggles and temptations. God is the divine unity (echad) of Father God, Logos God and Spirit God as per Genesis 1 v 1 and 26. Then God (Elohim-gods) said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule..’ ‘In the beginning God (Elohim-gods) created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God (gods) was hovering over the waters.’ John refers to this in the start of the Fourth Gospel: ‘In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.’ Spirit – Jesus said the Father would send another – John 14 v 16 ‘And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, ... But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name.’ John 16 v 7 ‘If I do go away, then I will send him to you. ... And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate to be with you forever.’ John 14 v 23 ‘ Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.’ How via the Holy Spirit – Elohim-echad. Paul’s famous declaration: ‘May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.’ 2 Cor 13 v 14. Peter 1 Pet 1v 1-2 ‘Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who are elect exiles of the dispersion in… according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in the sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and for sprinkling with his blood: May grace and peace be multiplied to you.’ John- I glorified You on the earth, having accomplished the work which You have given me to do” (John 17:4). The Spirit is the person who calls attention to the Son, rather than to Himself. Of this Spirit of truth, Jesus said, “He will glorify me” (John 16:14). The work of the Spirit would be to call attention not to Himself, but to the Son of God. John 3 v17 ‘For God (Theos) did not send the Son (Anointed One) into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.’ John 14 v 31 But so that the world may know that I love the Father, I do exactly as the Father commanded me’. Exactly – united will. One divine nature is to be found both in the Father and in the Son, with Christ affirming that He Himself was that very Son of God (John 10:30-36). The unbelieving Jews rightly understood the declaration of Jesus: “I and the Father are one” (John 10:30). Jesus here claimed that the divine nature that belonged to the Father likewise belonged to Himself — although the Father and the Son were distinct persons, they were one in terms of the divine nature that each one equally possessed. Paul later reiterated the exact same position: “For in Him all the fullness of deity (theotes) dwells in bodily form” (Colossians 2:9). James, brother of Jesus and Jewish Bishop of Jerusalem that Orthodox Jews respected, says ‘James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ’ James 1:1. He clearly states ‘believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ’ James 2 v 1. Kurios – Divine Master. With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father’ James 3 v 9 ‘1 Cor 15 v 7-8 ‘7 Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, 8 and last of all he appeared to me (Paul) also, as to one abnormally born. Spirit – Jude says, ‘Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ and a brother of James, To those who have been called, who are loved in God the Father and kept for/by/in Jesus Christ’. And ‘building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.’ And ‘17 But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold.’
Lastly, Saint Peter reminding his disciples that Jesus is the Christ says ‘Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who through the righteousness of our God and Saviour Jesus Christ – God is saviour. ‘our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.‘ v 11. 14 because I know that I will soon put it aside, as our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me. 15 And I will make every effort to see that after my departure you will always be able to remember these things. 16 For we did not follow cleverly devised stories when we told you about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ in power, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty. 17 He received honour and glory from God the Father when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory, saying, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”] 18 We ourselves heard this voice that came from heaven when we were with him on the sacred mountain.’ 2 Peter 1. Transfiguration - (Matthew 17:1–8, Mark 9:2–8, Luke 9:28–36) describe it, and the Second Epistle of Peter also refers to it (2 Peter 1:16–18). The first chapter of the Gospel of John alludes to it (John 1:14). And old Bishop John states in 1 John 1 ‘3 We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.’ The Incarnation of God, come to earth to join us with God, the Father, Logos and Spirit.
