Many know that for many months I was part an effort to build a room that attracts a wide range of personalities openly communicating in sensible fashion. I helped nurse each fledgling room, until for various reasons, the room changed it's name.
My loyalty proved to be misplaced. Only days before I had I declared my reluctance to visit other rooms for concern that my loyalty be questioned. Out of the blue, and without hearing the charge against me, and in cowardly fashion I was dehosted and booted.
Proceeding the boot there were private communications that convinced me there were no personal problems of any sort.
What is my point in saying all these things? Mostly I find fault in myself for placing my trust so easily. Also I fault myself for not recognizing how easily offense can be taken by those you believe understand a jest. Also, if you are offended then break the silence and stand your ground.
I'm not a lifeless puppet. Strong feelings still course thru my body. I was stung by the aforementioned act. My only defense was to revisit the experience step by step. To learn, to decide and in the end to judge.
I'm at peace. I am not harboring resentment against anyone. I'm proud of doing that for myself. I am a man of peace and hope that I might always live as such.
