Friends | mojodrum: THE Monarch Butterfly.. it is an image written on the hand, or on the wrist at the pulse point 8I8 E “I” 3; butterfly ( E for Empowerment (always) forms the left wing.) I for Ingenuity forms the body. And then 3 (forms the right wing) for the three precepts. Do you see the symbol of the butterfly in the 8I8? For Em/Hir who is pressured by others the 3 compulsory rules are: Keep your own counsel. Keep your thoughts clear of invasion of other people's negativity. Make your own way through life INSISTING on no one's dogma nor doctrine to be an authority over your own gut and experience. mojodrum: 'thanks Gen, i felt really bad after my housemate xian was calling it 'horrible, horrible x12" mojodrum: Bible verses: promises Jeremiah 17:5 /Jeremiah 29:11 , / Isaiah 54:17 , / Proverbs 3:5-6, / Matthew 16:26 , / John 10:10 ,/ Romans 5:3-4/ Romans 8:28, / Romans 12:1-2 ,/ Phil 4:6-7 , / Philippians 4:8 , / 1 Thessalonians 5:10 2 Corinthians 1:20 ,/ 2 Corinthians 3:18 Isaiah 54:17 no weapon forged against you shall prevail,\ Ephesians 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, mojodrum to jessicalsmith37: Hello Jessica, thanks for the question. i would like to chat sometime. It is the happiest individuals who know the abundance of life and live with great, generous abandon, taking risks and pursuing their dreams of a better world. I ask parents, “What do you want for your children?” Always, their reply is “Happiness.”
Speaking to a group of us in health and wellness careers, Dr. Deepak Chopra, a noted physician and best-selling author, addressed the happiness question head-on.
“What is the greatest cause of death in this country?” he asked. Most of the audience answered, “Heart disease.”
“Cardio-vascular disease, yes. And what is the greatest cause of cardiovascular disease?”
“Stress,” we replied.
“It is unhappiness. If you are happy, you are safe. If you are not, you must go find what gives you joy .. . the greatest number of heart attacks occur on Monday mornings between the hours of seven and nine, to people driving to jobs they do not enjoy.”
Later that evening he asked us, “Why do you in America work so hard?”
We chuckled as a gentleman answered “To have money?”
“And why do you want this money?” Chopra continued.
To which the man’s response was, “To buy things!”
“And why do you want to buy things?”
“To be . .. happier.”
“Why not be happy first? Then everything else will follow.”
