I’ve never written a blog

This will probably my one and only entry. I don’t really like writing. I’m always amazed at people who have so much to say. I could never be an author. Just too many words. I like short and sweet.

Anyways, I just wanna say that I’m here to have fun and put a smile on your face. Life is just way too short to get caught up with petty things. That stuff is just poison and will wear you down. It’s easier now that I’m older. I just don’t have any fucks to give for that sort of thing. It’s just not worth it. That stuff ages you too. I just want to spread a little joy and have a few laughs with friends and new people I meet.

There are those people who just seem to have that natural ability to light up a room. I worked at a place where we had this one customer. He was amazing. He’d always burst through the door and announce himself. “Hello everyone, Teddy’s here!” Of course everyone knew Ted and he needed no introduction, but he did that every time he came in the door. His personality was contagious. He made everyone’s day better just by showing up. Sadly, Ted got cancer. It was aggressive and took him quickly. I hardly knew the guy, but I cried. The world was less bright without Teddy. I couldn’t help think that the best way to honor him would be to spread that joy that he brought to so many. So that’s my thing now. Even when I’m not feeling great, I make a point of smiling, being positive and being that little ray of sunshine.

So I’m done rambling. My message is life is too short and there are too many awesome people to meet. Forget the small stuff. Give everyone the best part of you.
