To Mercury: On the topic of your looks:
Do you think that being a good looking person can ruin people? What I mean is that these people are valued more for their looks (as well as hated for them) and the opposite sex treats them as arm candy rather than as a person who is exactly like everyone else in so many ways. The end result may be things like womanizing, losing a true sense of self, and becoming overly preoccupied with looks because that is what most others are focused on. Your thoughts? Maybe this is one of the reasons you feel like that Faberge egg. Maybe you don't care? Maybe you have a strong sense of self? I'd like to know what you think. You game?

A common way people become ruined, so to say, which I forgot to discuss is when people equate their youth and physical beauty with self worth. Once age sets in and they start to wrinkle and grey, they get depressed, envy youth in others, and tend to see themselves with less worth than they used to. This is a very disappointing thing to see, especially if they cling onto what will never be again and take drastic measures to try and reclaim youthful appearance. Face lifts, tuck, snip, stretch-- slice and dice the insecurities away. People who haven't had such focus put on their appearance seem to better accept the grace of aging and the beauties that lie in that stage of life. Because everyone's looks fade, but the person they are does not.. unless they find who they are to be synonymous with their looks.
