cloudygrey33: I have found that a good rule of thumb seems to be that unless someone has the courage to directly address some issue they have with me- It is best to just assume that the issue is something to do with them! The reality is people have a lot going on, and half the time their behavior has nothing to do with you! And if they don't care enough about you or your friendship to let you know if you've offended them (or whatever it is)- The friendship wasn't really worth that much to begin with. I'm sorry you're going through that! I understand how it feels! Don't let their behavior make you feel bad about you! This is on them!

mystieblue12: Cloudy, you hit the nail right on the head a few months ago I had someone whom I thought was my friend block me with no reason or explanation behind it. At first I was a little stunned but when I had time to think about it I came to the same conclusion whatever her reasons for doing that its her issue not mine and she couldn't have been what I would call a friend in the first place if she could do something like that to me so...Life goes happily on and in your case Vixen I hope you feel the same way xoxoxox

There is alot of self centered, selfish people in the world that are only out for themselves. That's just my opinion after years of observation. XHuntressX: I've had people unfriend me, and I've unfriended those who have been detrimental to my health and well being! Online is supposed to be an extension of your life...not the main part of it! I come online to talk with friends, laugh and have a good time. For way to many...this is their life. They thrive on the gossip and drama. I find I visit the rooms less and less because of this. ( There are still a couple of pretty good rooms around ) I just have no interest in participating in their Junior High School antic's. I can find better places to spend that time. Honestly, If they could not come to you about any potential issue..were they truly your friend, or were they simply using you for a specific purpose? Sometimes a loss....is no loss at all. Sometimes your greatest blessing....can be the removal of a person from your life....Specially if you notice you thrive once they are out of your life! Head up...You have plenty of other friends!

amberjoy1979: My dear friend, we have known each other a long time, even if life gets busy and we don't get to talk often. I've always known you were here for me and I hope you know I am always here for you.. I agree with all the above comments. I've learned on here it is very rarely you, its them. Some of these people belong on the funny farm in a nice padded room. Just as out in the real world, there are genuine friends here and there are those that are only your friend when it somehow benefits them. There are those that will stick by you through good times and bad and those that would happily stab you in the back at the very first opportunity... when you come across the latter, I suggest trying not to let it get to you. Not always easy when you thought your friendship meant more to that person, but ultimately in the end, you really don't want a friend like that in your life anyway.

lil red riding hood: My personal opinion ~ every one has their own battles in life. When someone unfriends you or disappears it MOST likely has nothing to do with YOU. Don't take it personally. Different people are in our lives for different reasons. Some just to show us something in ourselves, some to heal, some to help you through a trial, some to celebrate with you. some are meant to stay forever, some to fall in love with and some to share our soul with. Everything on earth has it's season as well as it's perfect purpose. I think you are incredibly special and it is their loss.
