WTFO ya, I think I have been bitten to. LOLI thought I had issues.I thought I had Issues. LOL The sun is desperately trying to break through the clouds today. I'm afraid it isn't having much success. No matter how hard it tries the clouds seem to cover any cracks that appear very quickly and sun tries another as fast as it can. At the heart of this struggle appears the desire to control the sky, and affect the mood of everything below. The rain has been kept at bay by the swirl of the wind, pushing them away as the clouds try to cover another hole. Causing the clouds to separate and allow the sun to spread it rays, even for a second, but it just can't keep up. This cycle is just continuing to repeat itself as the day slowly dwindles away. The only hope for respite would be the moon to rise and to quell the voices for today. ChangeI have heard it all before. Change is a good thing and should be embraced and encouraged. What if change isn't needed? What if change is regressive. Is that a good thing? I see the world like everyone else, through the filters of their experiences and the layers of comfort they have propped up and rested. But, like the princess, if you place a pea in the middle of those layers, life can become very uncomfortable. Perspective re-aligned, my expectations of this road changed, and I don't know if I like it. I want to feel the way I did before, but I am afraid the wind has pushed me in a different direction. Bent like a flower in a hurricane ,I am overwhelmed by the change in you and I think we should pass each other and find another view. The Writing ProcessThe grass is green, the sun is yellow and bright. To describe such a fundamental aspect of our lives can prove daunting and frightening. You stare at a blank page for hours on end. Taunting you, like a smartass school kid with no empathy for your plight. The beads of salty sweat roll down your face as if hell has just manifested itself in your living room and you reel at the possibility of being mocked and derided for such an infantile prose. Yet, you stare at the page, your fingers ready to assault the keyboard at your whim, not knowing the outcome but eager to submit, a word pounces to the front of your brain. Anticipating its journey toward the tip of your fingers , you hesitate, lean back and think how to meld it into the story in front of you. Then, you have a thought. Then another, when all of a sudden something unexpected happens. You write a phrase. Is it good, original and inspiring? You won't know until you look up, until you gather the courage to lift your eyes and bask in the four words you tormented yourself for so long to write: "Once upon a time." |
