Work in customer service and consultant for home interiors. I love music and art. I went to school for fine arts. I have traveled a good bit and am very grateful for that opportunity. I am single and not opposed to talking with men who are respectful and understand that I do not want dick pics. I also am NOT sending any graphic photos. I do not have a penis so no worries there!! I would love to have some new friends that are open minded and always up for a good laugh.

laurah5107: I am having an issue at work and need some help figuring it out. I have never done this before so go easy on me please. I recently started a great new job that I love. I also recently moved back to my home town and that has been difficult.
I found out today that someone I am no longer friends with has been hired to work in my department. I am very concerned for the company and for myself. I know that she has shown up to work in the past. I have heard lunchroom talk that she interviewed with a department manager intoxicated but still somehow got the job. I was NOT participating in the conversation. Later the interviewer came in and confirmed that information to another associate.

I know that when she finds out that I work here she will start telling my business which I have fought really hard to overcome. She will also start asking my new coworkers if I have been talking about her. I have NOT but when she recently lost her job at another business it was fodder for the entire cosmetics industry in our town. People that don’t know her name know the story. Do I just leave it alone or what? Try and talk it out with her before she starts?
I want to be professional and don’t care that she got a job as much as I want my business to stay my business. Thoughts??? Honestly, am I being petty. I just want my job to stay the job I love.
