The Bad Guy... A Mother/Daughter Talk...

My husband is aware of, and amused by, my crush on Loki of screaming fangirl-like proportions. So when he walked in to find me watching The Avengers, he had to tease me a little before joining me. After a few scenes of Loki we started laughing at how our unborn daughter seemed to start stirring and moving around every time he appeared on the screen. So at one point I said something he felt like quoting on his Facebook and I think is worth repeating.

I rubbed my belly and said, "That, honey, is what we call 'the bad guy.' The bad guy can sometimes be very, very hot, but the reality is he will treat you like garbage, make you miserable, and not be nearly worth the trouble you think he is. So never ever date the bad guy... but it's always okay to look at him."

If she takes after either of us, it was very necessary conversation lol.
