PumpkinMoondust: The sanctioning thing doesn't matter...it isn't and won't make a difference. Putin could not care less about Russia, he's all in for himself.

RubyAdams: I don't fear a nuclear war for 2 reasons: 1 - whatever happens is God's will and 2 - although a disturbed man invaded another country, if it heads towards nuclear, someone close to him or a military leader will put an end to it/him.

attydallas3: I still can't figure out why (and frankly I'm upset about it) I have seen NO visible signs of support for Ukraine on the part of anyone in my 'burb (200,000+ people, Dallas' second largest) to date .. No one with the Ukrainian flag or other decor on their car, no hats, shirts, or even a lapel pin with the flag, etc. no group support demonstrations, etc. wth??? Has anyone here seen any show of it where they are located? &:-) Paul

PumpkinMoondust in reply to attydallas3: I've seen a bit in our area and on our block. My neighbor, Nikita ia from Ukraine and she's staying with us cause she doesn't want to be alone. Everyone on the block put blue and yellow lights on their houses so she knows she's not alone.

Marianetta: The invasion started less than 2 weeks ago and no store had random flags of Ukraine just laying around. That being said, I’ve driven under 3 underpasses where they were waving the Ukrainian flag and several people (myself included) honked in support. I personally ordered a pro-Ukraine shirt and a demonstrative necklace, but it doesn’t get here until Thursday. If you’ve got a massive stash of pro-Ukraine car stickers, hats, shirts, lapels, etc., feel free to share around! I’m sure those around you would love to show their support without having to wait for the massive shipping delays caused by both chaotic weather and a pandemic.

Peia: They're saying he was hoping trump would pull the US out of NATO, that way he could invade not only Lithuana, but also Estonia and Latvia, since they used to be part of Russia. But since that didnt happen and trump is no longer president, he wanted to make sure NATO didnt get Ukraine at least.

Gigi_77: Attydallas3 That’s unfortunate. In my area there have been large rally’s and tons of support. My daughters and I went to a Ukrainian store to get flags and they have been all sold out. I think some areas may have more outward support than others. God bless Ukraine πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦πŸ’™πŸ’›πŸ’™

Gigi_77: Thank you for showing your support. I am Ukrainian and have family in Ukraine. It’s devastating to see what is happening. Ukraine is very lucky to have Zelensky at these dark times. I hope he stays safe and leads the country to an amazing recovery. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦πŸ’™πŸ’›πŸ’™
