 | A lot has been going on since last I talked to most of you. I ducked away from social media, and a number of other social outlets. I wanted to say publicly that I am doing fine. I had a run in with PTSD which knocked me down for a while, but I have made it back revived and renewed. Postpartum, Down Syndrome, postpartum again, cancer scare, career change, cancer, treatment, remission, cancer, widower, single father, online dating, love, polycystic liver disease, marriage, vasectomy, RV’s, hepatic ensoplosiphy, increasing MELD, transplant, more RV, RIF, sabbatical, depression, autism, pregnancy, twins, loose it, recover, research what just happened, write a book, open office hours. Along my sabbatical road I learned some healthier views and practices that aid in being human and got really interested in physics and the philosophy side of theology. I am still keenly interested in how technology makes life better, including automation, interactive visualization, data gathering and computation, with human centered communication at the heart of it all. I am also keenly interested in YOUR transformative experiences, I know my story, I would like to know yours. Or just say hello is fine too. This is a type A introverts attempt to call you up and see how you’re doing, providing some background material for your reference and not wanting to call without an invitation.
