If the stars fell: its a mystery why there is so much animosity being spread... when there are dick whistles like this wandering around, acting like they have the right to treat other people however they wish and have no fear of any kind of reprisal or consequence.
We as a society are promoting this sort of behavior by allowing them to go unchecked, and no one being willing to step in when there is clearly something wrong about this...

If the stars fell: you posting that video is essentially saying that because racists exist, the actions of the people in the first video are less bad, or even justifiable, neither scenario excuses the other, nor justifies it... but people act like it does, which escalates it and makes it worse for the actual innocent people involved.
by the way there were no white people involved in the first video lol so that is also a bit of a straw man

If you didn't, I apologize. My post was in response showing that, in my opinion, BLM is a very valid and necessary movement.

I feel weary whenever these topics come up now - mainly because human behaviour can be depressing and disappointing, and while we can view that in videos, we also get to see it in much of the "discussion" about said videos. I'm not trying to be dismissive, but more and more I am realising how little power I have to change the bad behaviour or wrongheaded opinions in others. I try to focus on how I behave and treat others, and have stopped giving endless chances to those who spread division and hatred.
If the stars fell: I personally think the world would be better off if we set aside all the bullshit that only serves to drive us apart. It is a tool being used against us to prevent us from having enough collective power to change the world... it is no accident.
As an individual i dont appreciate being blamed for shit other people did, and the things i have no power over... and ultimately the changes that need to happen to make the world better would intrinsicly resolve problems suffered by specific groups of people... if we do it the right way we can make the world better for us all without prioritizing one over the other.

It also gives politicians from both sides of the political spectrum easy targets to use in diverting attention away from their poor governance and embedded corruption. If people would start listening to each other they would identify the goals and outcomes shared with many other demographics. Combining forces actually gives them more power to progress the changes they want and makes it more difficult for politicians to demonise them and use their activism to divide the voting populace. Building bridges can lead to greater influence and cause governments to sit up and take notice.
