For in a Capitalist economy shored-up by enslavement it becomes ‘necessary’ to dehumanize one’s fellow Human being in order to commoditise them. So unless the Ruling Class of that period adapted to the new opportunity of Slavery by enacting laws enshrining overtly amoral standards and practices, the existing moral framework of Society could not thereby incorporate and benefit from the new resource at hand. White supremacy is that compromise. It enables White society to ‘legitimately’ strip liberty from the oppressed African and gives wealth to the career Slaver and super-profits to the opportunist Capitalist; who gets to retain the Human ‘gift that keeps on giving’. This is the type of metal baton 38 year old Katie McCrary was assaulted with by Georgia Police officer P.J. Larscheid after a store manager called police on a spurious allegation of her loitering at the Chevron gas station premises. The police officer’s attack was so vicious Katie had to be taken to hospital, his blows so powerful the sound of his weapon pounding against her shins, arms and head is clearly audible:
As a result of this incident the Police had the audacity to charge Ms McCray who is seen writhing in agony with ‘obstructing or hindering law enforcement officers’ and Larscheid’s rampage was cleared by both his supervisor and internal affairs.
But for the uploading of the Mobile phone footage on Social Media the matter would have gone no further. The outrage of concerned citizens, community activists who have organized a boycott of the suburban Atlanta gas station and ‘Black Lives Matter’ campaigners have forced authorities to remove Larscheid from street duties pending a new investigation.
This and countless other videos clearly depict a racial contempt, redolent within US Police forces, for African Americans of all ages and genders.
