Because it’s not you being naive, or blind to them using you… It’s just you’re a genuine person who loves to give and give and give and love and love and love, because you know how it feels to have nothing, you know how it feels when you needed a shoulder to cry on, you know how it feels to be hurt and needed healing but couldn’t find the avenue for it. So In return you unknowingly make a promise to your soul that you wouldn’t let anyone go through what you went through if you crossed paths with them. It wouldn’t even matter to you if they were meant to be there in your life forever or just come and go, or even if you might end up having a fallout, all you care about is giving them hope, and showing them the light out of their dimmed path ❤️ And there’s nothing wrong with that at all, but what’s wrong is if you allow it to break you and turn you into a bitter, resentful person. Because then all you have become and done will be for nothing. Remember the pain and hardship you go through may not be clear as to WHY it happened, but just believe it’s a redirection for you, and you’ll only see it when you reach a higher level and moved on further so you can look back and look down and be like “whoa… now I get it.. now I know why it happened to me and why I had to go through it and why it went the way it went.” And then you’ll carry your head higher and wont have regrets or thoughts of how you’ve fallen short as a person.
