Atelophobia is a kind of mental illness whose symptoms appeared mentally, physically, and emotionally.

The Mental symptoms include the fear of not being good enough, driving away from the realities, never being happy with the current achievements, set impossible standards, extreme disappointment at the time of failure, depression, anxiety, and completely unrealistic behavior to certain situations.

On the other end,

The Emotional symptoms include the constant worrying, not accepting the challenges, a wish to run away from the situations, and high level of emotions like anger, sadness, jealousy and hurt.

All of these mental and emotional disorders can lead to the physical illness like stress, nausea, chest pains, panic attacks, insomnia, body shaking, nervousness, and hyperventilation.
Avoidance Behavior

Usually, a person with Atelophobia characterized by the behavior of avoidance.

In other simple words, they go out of their way in order to avoid things whatever scares them. It is very clear that the Atelophobes run away from the situation where they feel the sense of failure, or not being good enough.

They have the fear of imperfection. They consistently judge themselves against the standards set by them.
