“We have been called to heal wounds, to unite what has fallen apart, and to bring home those who have lost their way.” — St. Francis of Assisi
ILRAN: what I was trying to say Pere in room was that I have felt this deep love for God since I was born . I imagine its like what a religious person feels. Its deeply felt, imagine having that at under 5 yrs old. I thought that was going to be taken away once I got into school. I think Iwould have become a nun otherwise. God is and has always been very real to me. So we are kindered spirits....God bless your kind spirit
ILRAN: mg..thank you again for including my son in your prayers. Showed daughter Cynthia the room and she said "was very nice" that you are doing that. A few nights ago she dreamt of her brother and her father (deceased at 53) together. merci encore.
ILRAN: just a short note. I may not be able to stay on Wireclub. One of the rooms may
"turn me in" and they are fast with cutting you off. One of the monitors was very rude, and I asserted myself. Hopefully not, but if so perhaps I still could talk to you now and then, where I don't know. But hey so far so good. my email is :ILRANO@comcast.net. Always has been nice talking to you.
ILRAN: hi wrote you a note somewhere I don't see it posted. Today is a month of my son's death. Iwanted to thank you for your offerings at the Mass for him. I appreciate all your grievance work with me, it has been a great comfort. Merci mon ami et bonne sante a toi, Liane
Father Barnabas: My dear ILRAN:
I received your note. There are no words that can serve as a balm for the pain you feel. But just know that your friends in the chat room and I are here for you to listen and to mourn beside you. One of our very own moderators (hosts) lost a son too. Perhaps, if you would like, I could share your loss with her and maybe you two could talk. Just know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. If I may of any further help, please feel free to contact me. May the consolation of our Lord be with you.
In the love of Christ,
ILRAN: Thank you Pere. You do your work well. Following St. Francis' work cannot be easy.
I think if I did speak to someone going through the same kind of grief will be helpful. Spoke to mydaughter today, and found out my granddaughter 23, son's daughter is not doing well. Would like to help her mostly. Being a grandmother is same as being a mother, mainly do not want to see her suffer. A tout a l'heure. Liane
ILRAN: Sorry so yes to the offer to speak to moderator. Also whatdo I say to a young adult ho was very close to her father, did not have much of a famiy life and has had her share of sorrow at such a young age. Herparents went through a bitter divorce. Is there anything I can do to help her. Very sad
ILRAN: I wanted to end on a happy note. My friend from Toulouse, France who is self taught in English knows your room. She is self taught in a few languages, Russian now I believe. So she lets me speak in French but have a feeling she prefers English. She works for the school district on a one to one with students who are handicapped, lovely young woman. I am sure she is a strong catholic.
Wanted to add this in case she comes in to your room. bye
locksley69: Hi Fr Barn ... I came across this site and the Irish tenor is very good, so I thought you'd appreciate the music.

Brooklyn Man: The Holiday Gift is the Gift Of Love from Jesus and All the Angels and Saints in Heaven for the forthcoming Christmas Celebrations!
Merry Christmas and a Very Peaceful New Year.
ILRAN: gm Pere. Just want to thank you for the comfort you have given. It is still with me, as I ponder the death of that 18 yr old. The family is Christian, so hope they will seek refuge in their church, if any.
Hope you are well and health is improving. I most sincerely thank you again. Liliane
